About our Snoring Mouthpiece

SnoreMate was developed in 1999 to prevent snoring and was one of the original snoring mouthpieces to be sold worldwide. More and more customers are benefitting from our 85% success rate, improving their lives and enjoying endless nights of peaceful sleep!

Our snoring mouthpiece has a unique design - soft enough to be comfortable yet strong enough to hold your lower jaw slightly forward and stop snoring. It also has a 'one size fits all' advantage over other anti snoring devices in that it is made of a very malleable material enabling custom moulding to fit any mouth size or shape.

Dentists Recommendation

"I promote SnoreMate for the following reasons: It is easy to adapt to, it is comfortable to wear and it promotes good breathing habits."

Try the SnoreMate Test

SnoreMate works by moving the lower jaw forward during sleep. This allows the airway to increase in diameter, thereby reducing the velocity of the air traveling into the lungs, and hence eliminating or reducing the level of vibrations in the throat tissue.

Move your lower jaw forward. Now try and snore as hard as you can!

You can see if your lower jaw is pushed forward this position makes it nearly impossible to snore.

Move your lower jaw back and repeat the test.

If Step 1 reduced your snoring then SnoreMate will work for you.

How our Anti Snoring Mouthpiece works

A cure for snoring is easy with the SnoreMate anti snoring mouthpiece. Our oral device has been designed to comfortably hold your lower jaw in a slightly (a few millimetres) forward position while you sleep. This results is your throat being kept open and allowing air to flow unobstructed through your airway, hense stopping snoring. SnoreMate promotes healthy breathing through your nose which is a more efficient way to bring air into the lungs. This also eliminates a sore throat associated with mouth breathing.

Product Information

SnoreMate is manufactured under ISO International Standards. Assembled and packaged with strict quality control and checks to ensure a high quality product. The material used is FDA approved.

SnoreMate Case Studies

Many people have written in to tell us about their snoring problem. After a trial using our SnoreMate snore mouthpiece these have been some of the results:

Scott, USA
I have been a chronic snorer for the last decade. It has been determined that I do not have sleep apnea. I had turbinate reduction surgery and a uvulectomy in April of 2008 and sinus surgery in September 2008. None of this has been successful in reducing or eliminating my snoring. I have tried nasal strips, sprays, a tennis ball sewn to the back of my t-shirt and use multiflow pillows and sleeping positions. It has been so bad that I currently sleep in a separate bedroom downstairs so that my wife can get a good night's sleep. I would enjoy more than anything to be able to sleep with my wife on a continual basis. I really miss the closeness of sleeping next to my wife. I feel really isolated. I read about SnoreMate and learned it has an 86% success rate. This sounds wonderful to me. I want to be able to sleep with my wife without disrupting her sleeping pattern and re-strengthen the bond that sleeping next to the person you love achieves. I would love the opportunity to sample a free SnoreMate and become an avid user.

Results after using Snoremate | 31st March 2010
After years of trying many alternative anti snoring devices, as well as nasal surgery and a uvulectomy, the SnoreMate has been 95% effective in eliminating my snoring. I have used it for approximately 2-3 months. I think I have only woken my wife up on two separate times. This was just because the SnoreMate mouthpiece fell out of my mouth. As soon as I placed it back into my mouth it was back to a sound silent night of sleep for both me and my wife. My wife is a very light sleeper and I "was" a very heavy snorer. It was so bad that I opted to sleep on another level of our house so that my wife could get a good night's sleep. I really missed sleeping next to her. Now that I am a regularly using SnoreMate I can once again sleep next to my wife. I often ask her if she noticed me snoring. She is as amazed as I am how effective the SnoreMate works. For me, I would definitely say the SnoreMate is 100% effective.
I would definitely recommend the SnoreMate to everyone. I also noticed that I breathe much better at night because I am breathing through my nose, resulting in a much more sound sleep. If I could, I would be an international spokesman for the SnoreMate. It is that amazing. The only thing that I would want to share is making sure that all new users give the product and their mouth time to get used to using it. The first couple of nights there was some awkwardness, but no pain. You also feel your teeth in the morning. It is not a pain but more of a slight feeling of pressure. You quickly get adjusted to this. For me by day 3, I didn't even notice it. I am definitely sold.

How to Fit the SnoreMate Anti-Snoring Mouthpiece

The SnoreMate mouthpiece is generally worn at night. It holds your lower jaw slightly forward while you sleep thus opening up or widening your airway (respiratory tract) which in turn enables air to flow more freely and at a slower rate. Vibration of the loose tissue ceases and you stop snoring.

How to fit the Snoremate Mouthpiece

Fill a container or kettle with enough water to allow the snoring mouth guard to be completely submerged. Heat on a stove or in the microwave until the water boils vigorously. Do not put the SnoreMate mouthpiece into the water whilst it is boiling. Remove the boiling water from the heat source.

Holding the tab, dip the mouthpiece into the hot water for exactly 12 seconds to soften the plastic. Be sure not to let the snore guard touch the sides of the container.

Remove the mouthpiece from the hot water and gently shake off the excess water.

Holding the tab with TOP facing upwards, move the lower jaw into a comfortable forward position. Place the warm mouthpiece onto the lower jaw and bite down firmly in the forward position. (Remember that the more forward the lower jaw is, the better the result will be).

The SnoreMate will be warm, but will not burn you. Suck all of the air out of the mouthpiece, and use your tongue and lips to press against the mouthpiece for a tight fit. You can also use your fingers to press the mouthpiece firmly over your upper and lower teeth and gums. Check the fit, it must be snug.

You can repeat this process again, but only dip the mouthpiece back into the hot water for a few seconds.

When you are satisfied with the custom fit, place the mouthpiece into ice-cold water to set the shape.

We suggest that you do not remove the tab for the first night to ensure that you have the correct lower jaw position. It can then be removed by cutting it off with a pair of scissors as close to the mouthpiece as possible.

If you do not stop snoring completely, re-mould the SnoreMate with your jaw extended a little further forward. It may take a few nights to get accustomed to sleeping with the SnoreMate mouthpiece, but please persevere. A plastic watertight storage container is included in the pack. Use either toothpaste or mouthwash to keep the anti snore device hygienically clean.

* Please Note: SnoreMate is only suitable for adults. It is not recommended for those who wear braces or dentures or have any nasal obstruction. If you suspect that you may suffer from Obstructive Sleep Apnea, please consult your physician before attempting to use a Mandibular Advancement Device or other anti-snoring mouth guard.
